RED SUN KARATE provide high quality instruction in
Shotokan Karate in Manchester and Salford
Our instructors have many years experience in training, competing and teaching Shotokan Karate
We teach students from 5 years old and upwards and have classes on most days of the week
A warm welcome awaits new members both young and old and especially families because this is a sport which really can be enjoyed by all the family and because the benefits of Karate training taught by experience and qualified instructors can be enjoyed by everyone.
September 2011:
Congratulations to Sensei Keith Mayor who has been awarded Godan (5th Dan). This has been awarded following the recent summer gasshuku at which he demonstrated the Kata "Suishu" and bunkai before a panel of senior instructors.
Keith is the longest serving member of our club and we look forward to presenting him with his 5th Dan certificate soon.
We have agreed with Worsley Judo Club the exclusive use of Linnyshaw Mill Dojo on Monday's, Wednesday's, Friday's and all Weekend! This will effectively be our main dojo, i.e. our own Dojo!!
This must make us one of the very few karate clubs in the UK that have their own dojo, so this is a massive step forward for the club and will help everyone in their karate training.
For me this is a very exciting time and I look forward to seeing everyone in the dojo even more often!!
